October is a reminder that we're in the final lap of 2013, and with that comes a couple of long-awaited projects that will finally be hitting shelves this fall.

G.O.O.D. Music's Pusha T was ready to release his solo debut 'My Name Is My Name' in 2012, but pushed back the project in light of his participation in his camp's compilation album, 'Cruel Summer.'

Kanye West proclaimed that Pusha is the only rapper "spitting that wild mothaf---ing hip-hop s--- right now" at the rapper's album listening session earlier this month. With all that passion behind Kanye's rant, 'My Name Is My Name' should be worth the listen.

Rapper Danny Brown will be dropping 'Old,' his third studio album, on the same day.

On the R&B side of things, the hip-hop soul queen Mary J. Blige is early for the holiday season with a new Christmas album on the way next month. And Robert Glasper will be returning with the second installment of his Grammy-award winning 'Black Radio,' which will feature a new set of soulful talents including Jill Scott, Dwele and Luke James singing over his glorious production of jazz and soul fusion.
