Mack Wilds vs. Glenn Lewis – R&B Sound Off
Mack Wilds is unstoppable. With 72.41 percent, Mack not only dominated last week's R&B Sound Off but also is one win away from entering TheDrop.fm's R&B Sound Off Hall of Fame. His opponents, veteran crooners K-Ci & JoJo only walked away with 27.59 percent of the vote.
‘Wild Things’ is the third single off Mack’s new album, ‘New York: A Love Story,’ out now. Featuring Method Man, the song kicks off with an orchestral opening followed by a beat that’s relatively familiar to the East Coast. Celebrating his love for the Big Apple, Wilds comes out hard, despite his smooth vocals, on how he reps his town.
“Come from the crown side / The New York town side / West side till I di-e / I grew up hearing that Wu-not / Watching that cop that / You feel like cooking this / Hercules get a hand god damn,” he sings.
This week, Canadian crooner Glenn Lewis is Mack's opponent. 'All My Love,' a duet with Melanie Fiona, is of his upcoming LP, ‘Moment of Truth,’ set to release Oct. 15.
Unlike other duets where the male and female vocalists sing their feelings for each other, this is more of a conversation directed toward the perfect significant other. The mid-tempo track shows off Lewis and Fiona’s voices nicely and proves why this was a perfect musical match.
“See if I was your boyfriend / And your boyfriend was me / It would be so secure / He would have to compete / I’m just that fly / That he thinks that you’ll leave / As pretty as you are, you deserve finer things,” Lewis croons in hopes of getting his girl.
Will Mack win another week and enter the R&B Sound Off Hall of Fame? Or will Glenn take that chance away? Vote for your favorite song in the poll below. Remember you can vote once per hour until the poll closes on Tues., Oct. 15, at 10AM ET.

Rules of R&B Sound Off
Two R&B artists sound off against each other each week. The triumphant artist goes on to compete in the next R&B Sound Off. If an artist wins four straight R&B Sound Offs, the song will be honored as immortal in TheDrop.fm R&B Sound Off Hall of Fame.
