While we adore Solange for her soulful songs and indie style, it looks like she's moving on toward bigger things by signing a record deal with Columbia.

Billboard reports the label has signed the
'Looks Good With Trouble' singer and will put out Solange's next studio album later this year. The new LP will incorporate tracks from her latest EP, 'True.' However, according to the singer's Twitter account, she's actually started her own label, Saint Records, which will be distributed through Sony.

Previously with Terrible Records in Brooklyn, this isn't Solange's first association with a major. Not only is big sis, Beyonce, on Columbia, but Solange's career also started with Geffen till she went indie.

We'll just have to wait and see how this new venture will turn out for her.
