Despite their ongoing infighting, Naughty By Nature rocked the crowd at the 2013 Roots Picnic on Saturday (June 1) in Philadelphia.

Amazingly, Treach and Vin Rock performed an energetic two-hour set in tandem with the Roots band without bumping heads -- it felt like 19-Naughty-4 all over again.

The duo, along with Kay Gee on the turntables, took concert-goers down memory lane and rapped their infectious hits including 'It's On,' 'Uptown Anthem,' 'O.P.P.' and, of course, 'Hip-Hop Hooray.'

Joining NBN and the Roots onstage were Marsha Ambrosius, Rahzel the Godfather of Noize and an unbilled Meek Mill. Additionally, Jean Norris-Baylor of the '90s R&B duo Zhane sang alongside NBN during their rendition of 'Everything's (Gonna Be Alright).'

The Roots Picnic had plenty of superstars heat up the stage during a brutally hot afternoon.

Seattle hip-hopper Macklemore turned up the heat with a performance of his chart-topping hit singles, 'Thrift Shop,' 'Same Love' and 'Can't Hold Us.'

But the festival wasn't all hip-hop as the eclectic bill embraced a wide range of music artists from the R&B, EDM, jazz and rock worlds.

Beyonce's sister, Solange was in the building. She had the crowd singing along during her soulful set. Jazz musician Robert Glasper and rock guitarist Gary Clark, Jr., also entertained the Philly crowd with their high-powered sets.

Overall, it was great to see the Roots come back to their hometown and give fans a superstar-filled show.

And just think, next month, the Roots will host its annual Philly 4th of July Jam featuring headlining acts Jill Scott, John Mayer, Ne-Yo and J. Cole, among others.

There's no doubt that the Roots are the hardest-working and most-beloved band in hip-hop.
