Snoop Dogg, ‘Doggystyle’ – Animal-Centric Rap Album Covers

Granted, this is an illustrated cover with no real animals on it but it's Snoop Dogg's classic 'Doggystyle' album, so we are going to put it on the list.

We also have to say that this is arguably one of the greatest album covers in hip-hop. Reminiscent of those old Parliament-Funkadelic comic book-style covers, we see Snoop trying to grab some, ahem, tail, while the sneaky dog catcher waits behind the fence to catch him so he can take him to the dogg pound.

Plenty of metaphoric meanings about Snoop's life growing up with this animated cover. Bow-wow-wow-wow, yippee-o, yippee-yeah!
