Traveling on airplanes can be terribly inconvenient with all of those airport rules and regulations. Just ask Solange. While boarding a flight out of Miami Wednesday (Nov. 14), Beyonce's sister had to endure an afro pat-down by TSA officials. So what did airport security find in Solo's 'fro?

A bobby pin, according to Solange, who tweeted about the encounter on her Twitter feed. The 'T.O.N.Y.' singer couldn't bob and weave out of the situation when security asked her to remove her hairpiece to check for any concealed weapons or maybe a spare afro pick (just kidding).

"Discrim-FRO-nation. My hair is not a storage drawer. Although, guess I could hide a joint up in here. *Blames "Romnesia" (my wigs name)," she tweeted to her followers before kicking off a game of "what did TSA find in Solange's Fro"?

Solange isn't the first woman to go through a similar situation at the airport. In 2011, a CBS news affiliate reported a story about a female traveler getting her afro patted down by TSA officials in Atlanta.

While she expressed her annoyance over the incident, Solange didn't let it ruin her trip. Instead, she sparked an Afro-volution on Twitter. "Bam..thats amazing!! I might have 2 jack Discrim-fro-nation. people r hating cause its powerful. its a #Frovolution!!" tweeted fellow Afro-ed diva Tanika Ray.

The one good thing to come out of her hairy run-in with the TSA: she didn't miss her flight. "Ok. Game over. Flights taking off. Me and my wig had a lot of good laughs with y'all," she wrote.

You can hear more of Solange's truths on her upcoming EP, 'True,' which hits stores on Nov. 27.
