R&B Makeovers: Chrisette Michele
When Chrisette Michele dropped her debut LP, 'I Am,' in 2007, she was a unique addition to Def Jam's R&B camp. She was an old school jazz siren like no other newbie that year. Petite and rubenesque, the Long Island, N.Y., native was undeniably beautiful. She sported classic cut dresses with 1940s-inspired pincurls. By the time she released her second LP, 'Epiphany,' in 2009, the singer slimmed down a bit and her wardrobe had taken a fun turn. Chrisette's shoulder-length hair was gone and in its place came a funky pixie cut in honey blonde. Recently, she's shed more weight, switched up her super short cut a bit and experimenting with a retro-inspired look. With her birthday approaching this month, it appears Chrisette Michele is starting her 30s off with a bang.
