Rapper Jim Jones is in the fast lane with his new head-nodding joint 'Green Light Go,' which features Swizz Beatz on the hook.

On the song, producer Scoop DeVille samples the horns and drums from David McCallum's jazzy tune 'The Edge,' which Dr. Dre also sampled on his 1999 banger 'The Next Episode.' Over a bouncy beat, the Diplomats member spits luxury rhymes about spending money and partying until the break of dawn.

"I bought so many bottles I'ma need another section / Blood was on the shoes like the Fever is PMS-ing (ill!) / Bad redbone, Farentino clutches / V-12 automatic Lamborghini clutching," Jones raps, adding, "This is vampire life, f--- the morning."

Props to Scoop DeVille on the production end. The West Coast producer gave Jones a club-worthy banger that should make everyone turn up on the dance floor. And if you're keeping score, the studio maverick was one of the many producers who worked on Kendrick Lamar's stellar album, 'good kid, m.A.A.d city.' DeVille blessed K.Dot with the smooth rap ballad 'Poetic Justice' featuring Drake.

No word on where 'Green Light Go' will end up, but it's good to hear Jones vamp out on a track. Hopefully, there's a solo LP, or, better yet, a Diplomats reunion album in the works.

Get ready, get set, go!
