In the wake of Kendrick Lamar's verse on the 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards Cypher, in which he presumedly fired a lyrical shot at Drake, people are eager to see what will be the outcome. One of those people is Erykah Badu.

The R&B diva took to Twitter to give her thoughts on the lyrical feud between K.Dot and Drizzy. Badu suggested that Drake should fire back and with good reason. She tweeted:

The rappers' lyrical tit-for-tat started when Lamar called out a list of rappers, including Drake, on his 'Control' verse. The OVO leader made some subliminal shots about the Compton MC's verse in interviews and on his latest album, 'Nothing Was the Same.'

In his conversation with journalist Elliott Wilson for CRWN, Drake scoffed at Lamar's verse. "That ['Control'] verse was a moment to talk about [but] are you listening to it now, though?” he questioned.

Until Drake responds, fans will have to wait until the BET Hip-Hop Awards to hear Lamar's entire freestyle. The awards show will air on Oct. 15 at 8PM ET.
