Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Slaughterhouse Perform in Cyphers at 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards

The 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards were taped in Atlanta Saturday (Sept. 28) and the participates for the much-anticipated "Cyphers" were revealed.

According to KarenCivil.com, there will be eight cyphers featuring a range of rhyme-spitters from different regions and camps.

Among the rap crews performing in the cyphers were Kendrick Lamar and his fellow Black Hippy members ScHoolBoy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul and newcomer Isaiah Rashad (aka $pottie).

Also in the building was the Slaughterhouse crew featuring Royce Da 5’9," Joell Ortiz, Crooked I and Joe Budden.

Finally, Harlem's own A$AP Mob, which consists of A$AP Ferg, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Twelvy, A$AP Nast and A$AP Ant, performed their cypher on the show.

Other rappers participating in cyphers included one featuring Action Bronson, Star Life Breezy (Sprite Contest Winner), Travis $cott, Tiffany Foxx and Lil’ Kim.

According to eyewitnesses at the BET Hip-Hop Awards, Lamar had the standout verse among those performing in their cyphers.

Apparently, K.Dot rapped his competitive bars over Mobb Deep's 'Shook Ones' instrumental. The Compton MC even took a couple of shots at Drake during his cypher.

The 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards will air Oct. 15 at 8PM EST. Peep the Cyphers list below.
