DMX, ‘Grand Champ’ – Animal-Centric Rap Album Covers

This list wouldn't be complete without including DMX. The former Ruff Ryders rapper has been an avid dog lover ever since he was a child. So much so, that when his beloved dog Boomer passed away, he got a life-like tattoo etched on his back.

Rumor has it that X wanted to immortalize Boomer for the cover of his fifth album, 'Grand Champ.' The term "grand champ" usually refers to a pitbull's undefeated ranking in dog-fighting competition. (We don't condone it, we're just saying.) If it is Boomer on the cover, he was certainly a beautiful dog.
