Angel Haze has been on the move since 10 years old. After leaving her home of Detroit, she never really had a home to rep. For now it’s Brooklyn, N.Y. She experienced homelessness and sexual abuse, but still achieved goals like obtaining her high school diploma online and pursuing a rap career.

This young woman is using music as her therapy, and her track ‘Cleaning Out My Closet,’ which uses Eminem's beat from the original track of the same name, details her past pain.

Haze signed to Universal Republic Records in August 2012 and performed at the CMJ Festival in October. She's released four mixtapes, her most recent ‘Classick,’ and even took her beef with Azealia Banks to wax, proving she's even got battle bars.
