LL Cool J is just coming off his second hosting gig and a performance at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards Sunday. The veteran Queens rapper isn't slowing down as he preps the release of his 14th album. Originally called 'Authentic Hip-Hop,' he recently slimmed the name down to 'Authentic.'

The Queens-bred emcee keeps things simple with a black-and-white album cover, sporting a hoodie that gives him an around-the-way look.

The release date has also been pushed back to May 7. According to HipHop-N-More.com, the rapper is revamping the previously released track list that had features from Kendrick Lamar, Jennifer Lopez, Joe Budden and more.

Last year, LL released his first single from the LP, 'Ratchet,' and his second single, 'Take It' featuring Joe, is out now.

In other news, LL is on the March cover of Essence magazine, where he discusses 'How He Stands By His Woman,' who he's been married to for almost 18 years. Nice to know they are keeping the love alive.
