Super Bowl weekend in New Orleans is on its way in a matter of days and Beyonce's halftime performance is bound to be the talk of the town. However, there are also some charitable efforts to be made by some of hip-hop's biggest stars during the football festivities.

The non-profit organization Home Mission Inc., has planned a number of parties and special events for Super Bowl weekend, which they have deemed the I.M.P.A.C.T. Charity Experience.

For four days -- Jan. 31 through Feb. 3 -- the organization hopes that star power will assist in contributing to their primary goal -- providing service and support for the New Orleans' homeless and indigent community.

Home Mission will back celebrity-hosted events and community service projects with the help of stars like Kevin Hart, DJ Khaled, Scarface and Trae the Truth. On Thursday night (Jan. 31), personalities such as Rocsi Diaz and Toya Wright will kick the weekend off with the Welcome to New Orleans event at the Precinct Bar & Lounge (1377 Annunciation St., New Orleans).

Native New Orleanian Lil Wayne and his own non-profit, One Family, have also joined forces with Home Mission to ensure that this weekend will not only be about the pigskin but about making a difference.

On Saturday (Feb. 2), the head of YMCMB along with Winn-Dixie will sponsor a feeding event and carnival for the homeless community at Dijon NOLA (1379 Annunciation St., New Orleans).

“We hope that I.M.P.A.C.T Weekend will serve as a catalyst for the continued growth of our programs and number of people we’re able to serve," says Krystal M. Justice, executive director of Home Mission.

Proceeds from the I.M.P.A.C.T. parties will go directly to the Home Mission charity fund. Those interested can volunteer for the community service events or donate to Home Mission directly. A complete list of the I.M.P.A.C.T. festivities and locations can be found here.
