Kelly Rowland Reschedules Lights Out Tour With The-Dream
Since Kelly Rowland is such a busy woman nowadays she was forced to reschedule dates on her Lights Out tour with The-Dream.
The trek was set to begin in Minneapolis tonight (May 23) and stretch through the end of June.
Unfortunately, the R&B songbird revealed on her Instagram that she had to rearrange the dates to make room for her new gig -- a judge on Fox's 'The X Factor.'
"Although the tour had to be rescheduled because of ‘X Factor,’ I’m looking forward to bringing you guys a bigger and better show!" she wrote. "I can’t wait to see each and every one of you guys on the road."
The jaunt will make stops in Washington, D.C., on Sunday (May 26), Baltimore on Tuesday (May 28), New York on May 30, Philadelphia on May 31 and Mashantucket, Conn., on June 2.
The-Dream, whose new album 'IV Play' hits stores on Tuesday, also stated, "First, I want to wish my friend Kelly congratulations on her new gig at ‘X Factor.' Unfortunately, we have to change some tour dates which has been extremely hard for me and for Kelly. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at a later date."
"But in support of 'IV Play,' I will find the time to come to some of the cities left out to the best of my ability, if only to be in front of the fans that support us," he continued.
Meanwhile, Rowland's album, 'Talk a Good Game,' is set to arrive on June 18. Next month, the singer will join Simon Cowell, Paulina Rubio and Demi Lovato to start judging auditions for the next season of 'The X Factor.'
