Jim Jones was supposed to spend the first day of spring in court, but his hearing has been rescheduled to April 3, according to court officials.

Jim Jones was arrested close to his home in Fair Lawn, N.J., on Feb. 13. Sergeant James Corcoran was handling a complaint about Jones’ car being parked illegally as he hadn't moved it since a snow storm.

The sergeant inspected the car and, after running tags on Jones' vehicle, found that the Harlem, N.Y., rapper had been avoiding a few warrants for his arrest.

One warrant was for a motor vehicle violation in Paterson, N.J., and another for leaving snow on the sidewalk in front of his house.

Corcoran says he asked the rapper to go with him to police headquarters to straighten out the warrants and Jones refused to comply. He said no such warrants existed and according to the sergeant, he “got out of line.”

The 'Ballin'' rhymer's original court date was already pushed back from Feb. 27.
