J. Cole, with one album under his belt, still has much to prove. After laying low since his 2011 debut, 'Cole World: The Sideline Story,' the Roc Nation signee dropped the song 'Miss America' and began discussing the making of his sophomore LP, 'Born Sinner' in November 2012.

The North Carolina native recently opened up about the creative process. "As soon as my first album dropped, all of this weight was off me and everything was flowing out and that lasted... months and months," Cole told MTV. "So just the freedom of not having to please the label, the machine, that was very inspiring."

'Born Sinner' arrives later this year.
