Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson were among several artists who performed at two official Inaugural Balls at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., Monday night (Jan. 21).

According to Billboard, Keys kicked the night off with a performance of 'New Day' and moved into 'Girl on Fire.' The piano diva altered the lyrics ever so slightly by adding President Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama to the verses. "Everybody know's that Michelle's his girl / Together they run the world… Obama is on fire / Obama is on fire," she sang.

Of course, the highlight of the night was the President and the First Lady's Inaugural first dance. Before that, President Obama opened with heartfelt remarks, in which he thanked supporters, his wife and the armed forces who were overseas and in attendance.

Afterward, he was then joined onstage by Michelle Obama who wore a floor-length red dress designed by Jason Wu. The lovely couple danced to Al Green's classic love song 'Let's Stay Together,' which was performed by Oscar-winning songbird Jennifer Hudson. The soulful tune had some extra meaning to it as it was Obama's official campaign song before and during the 2012 election.

Other performers at the Inaugural Balls including Jamie Foxx, who sang Ray Charles' "I Can't Stop Loving You' during a dance between Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Jill. Also, Stevie Wonder performed his classic hits at the event including 'Higher Ground, 'Superstition' and 'Signed, Seal, Delivered.'

Undoubtedly, the Obamas delivered one helluva party.
