Eminem hasn't rocked the mic in a long time but it looks like he's ready to move the crowd again. The Detroit spitfire has been tapped as the first headliner for the U.K.'s twin concert events, the Reading and Leeds music festivals.

This would be the emcee's first concert gig in over a decade, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The last time he performed at the event was in 2001, while promoting his second album 'The Marshall Mathers LP.'

The Reading and Leeds Festival, which runs from Aug. 23-25, 2013, will boast more stages this time around, including a hip-hop stage, in addition to other genres of music. Organizers are also expanding the bill to feature artists in the EDM world, as well. So it should be a fun-filled weekend.

No word if Eminem will perform any new material at the two festivals. The 'Lose Yourself' rapper is currently working on his follow-up to 2010's 'Recovery.' In the meantime, you can see Slim Shady in 50 Cent's latest video for 'My Life,' and in Skylar Grey's clip for 'C'mon Let Me Ride.'
