Eminem Announces ‘Marshall Mathers LP 2′

The first big surprise at the MTV Video Music Awards came through a commercial Sunday night (Aug. 25). In a TV spot promoted by Beats by Dre, Eminem announced the release date and title for his forthcoming sixth studio album.

'Marshall Mathers LP 2' drops on Nov. 5. The executive producers are Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin.

The commercial comes along with a snippet of his new song, 'Berzerk,' which features the boom-bap production reminiscent of Rick Rubin's style. The single officially drops on Tuesday.

Eminem's last new release, 'Survival,' dropped a little over a week ago.
