Destiny's Child is perhaps the greatest R&B group of the 2000s. We are proud of them for that.

But one of their songs, 'Bootylicious,' from their 'Survivor' album, spawned the media's infatuation with a word they couldn't seem to stop abusing.

At first it was a catchy song celebrating the curvy ladies out there, which in turn became a successful Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit.

But the song's annoyance levels hit a new high, as the use of the word "bootylicious" became forced for many of the people using it. Plus, did anyone give Snoop Lion his rightful credit for originally introducing the word on Dr. Dre's song 'F--- wit Dre Day (And Everybody's Celebratin')'? I think not.
