Usher had a great year with his seventh studio album, 'Looking 4 Myself,' but matters in his personal life took the singer for a wild ride. In July, his stepson Kile Glover, 11, was declared brain dead after a jet ski accident and eventually died from heart failure. During this time, he was also finalizing his divorce from ex-wife Tameka Foster, in which he eventually won sole custody of their two sons.

The drama centering around Usher only heightened when TV viewers tuned in to see him speak with Oprah on her show 'Oprah's Next Chapter.' During their conversation, the crooner commented on his marriage with Tameka, stating, "I was faithful at heart, but not faithful all the way." Of course the father of two got emotional when asked about his stepson. "I miss Kile," he told Oprah. "We cooked together, we laughed, we sang. He loved to sing and dance. He loved to tell jokes."
