A$AP Ferg Releases New Song ‘Shabba’ Featuring A$AP Rocky

A$AP Mob rapper A$AP Ferg is putting in more 'Work' this summer with his new single, 'Shabba.' Joining him on the track is fellow rhymer A$AP Rocky.

Judging from title and cover, Ferg was inspired by the legendary dancehall artist Shabba Ranks, who ruled the clubs in the '90s with his seductive jams like 'Slow and Sexy' and 'Mr Loverman.'

The Trap Lord big ups Ranks for his gold rings, gold chains, his two bad women and one gold tooth. He then raps, "Short n---- but my d--- tall / What I told your bitch, dog / Only thug n---- down at the Pitchfork / Dirty van bitches wanna suck my d--- off / Pop a Xany for a penny get the hit floor / Run up in this s--- raw."

Pretty Flocko comes through spitting tough rhymes about women and guns.

"Flacko be mobbing all day / When n----s out shopping that yay / They chopping them choppas they handle my problems / 'Cause n----s be plotting these days," he raps.

Although not as radio-friendly as his previous single 'Work,' the gritty 'Shabba' features some interesting productions and rhymes that are strictly for the streets.

A$AP Ferg's debut album, 'Trap Lord,' is scheduled to hit stores Aug. 20.
