94: Tiara Thomas – Powerful Women of 2013

Tiara Thomas was only a college student at Ball State University when she first met Wale and Le’Greg O. Harrison at the rapper’s show in 2009.

After giving them her demo that night, she was surprised to find out that she would soon have the opportunity to open for the ‘Lotus Flower Bomb’ rapper. In 2011, she was signed to the Board Administration. Although she’s still working on her debut album, ‘Sallie Mae,’ she’s already featured on Wale’s current single, ‘Bad’ -- their second collaboration after 'The Cloud.’

Music aside, Thomas graduated from Ball State University in 2012, and was one of the faces of American Eagle from 2011 to 2012.
