93: Amanda Seales – Powerful Women of 2013

Probably one of the more unconventional choices for this list, but Amanda "Diva" Seales has been a force in the world of hip-hop and R&B for some time. She just does it in her own way.

Instead of spitting rhymes or belting those high notes, you can find her in the DJ booth spinning tracks that are probably before 2004 or on VH1's 'Best Week Ever' critiquing the week in celebrities.

She's been a MTV VJ for 'Suckafree,' toured with Floetry in 2007, and was a featured artist on Q-Tip's 'The Renaissance.' In 2012, she released 'Technicolor Lover' after her fans pushed for some new material to be released. With this resume, she's bound to do more big things in 2013.
