Cassie's 'Me & U,' which released in 2005, was our first introduction to the R&B singer and model. Peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, the track stayed on that chart for five months and went platinum in December 2006.

With Ryan Leslie by her side as a songwriter, she was signed to NextSelection Lifestyle Group and was soon scooped by Bad Boy Records after Leslie convinced Diddy to join the partnership. Her debut LP, 'Cassie,' was released in August 2006, and hit the No. 4 spot on the Billboard 200 chart and the No. 2 spot on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

After her album released, slow sales and hype seemed to make the pretty lady fall by the wayside. However, she managed to hustle and finally released a mixtape earlier this year titled 'RockaByeBaby,' a collection of tracks like her female anthem with Trina and LoLa Monroe, 'All Gold, All Girls.' and the Rick Ross-assisted 'Numb.'
