Nicki Minaj to Make Acting Debut in Cameron Diaz Film

Nicki Minaj is headed to the big screen! The 'American Idol' judge has signed on to star in her very first live action movie opposite Cameron Diaz.

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the Queen Barbz will star in the revenge comedy 'The Other Woman.' The movie is about a jilted lover, played by Diaz, who discovers that she's "the other woman" in an affair. So she teams up with the wife to give the philandering cad his comeuppance.

Minaj will play Diaz's opinionated assistant at a law firm who is currently on her third marriage.

Technically, this isn't Mina'sj first time on the big screen. She voiced and appeared as a prehistoric mammoth alongside her Young Money labelmate Drake in the animated film 'Ice Age: Continential Drift.'

'The Other Woman,' which is being directed by Nick Cassavetes, will start shooting in New York around late spring/early summer.
