In celebration of the Easter holiday, Yasiin Bey (aka Mos Def) released 'Black Jesus,' his collaboration with legendary Cash Money producer Mannie Fresh. The Brooklyn rapper initially unveiled the song during his recent performance in Phoenix.

Apparently, 'Black Jesus' will be featured on the duo's collaborative album, tentatively titled 'OMFGOD' (or 'OMFGODBKxNOLA' according to other reports). Not to be profane, but this is one helluva track.

On the song, Bey recites spiritual affirmations to the Almighty backed by a gospel choir, a thunderous beat and clanking snares. "Halljauah, sweet Black Jesus," he sings on the chorus.

Elsewhere, Bey spits rhymes while giving props to Brooklyn and the Big Easy where Fresh is from. "BK, N-O-L-A / The Boogie Man and that Go DJ / A good God / A Yes Y'all / We work it out / Make it run / Lift it off, Fly," he raps.

At the end of the song, Bey urges his followers to abide by the scripture found in Matthew 6:33: "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Amen.

We don't have a clue where or when this 'OMFGOD' album will be available but if it sounds anything like 'Black Jesus,' then get ready for the Second Coming of Yasiin Bey (excuse the pun).

Hallelujah!
