The Roots Perform Live — Ultimate Hip-Hop BBQ

Instead of a DJ, Drake wanted to have the Roots perform live renditions of hip-hop classics and current hits. During the BBQ, everyone nodded their head as their song came on.

The Roots brought their own surprises as well in the form of some R&B legends. R. Kelly, Maxwell and D’Angelo added some soulful flavor by serving up some of their lauded tunes to those in attendance.
