Santigold gives it up to the ladies of New York in her new video for 'Girls.'

From the subway to the local playground, we get to see females of all ages, races and walks of life lip-synching the lyrics. Meanwhile, Santigold is filmed in a room with friends (or backup dancers) fooling around in front of the camera.

After HBO's hit series 'Girls' walked away with Golden Globes for both Best Actress in a Comedy Series (to the show's star and creator Lena Dunham) and Best Comedy last night, it seemed fitting that this video premieres today since it's Santigold's contribution to the show's soundtrack.

The singing-rapping artist's latest album, 'Master of My Make-Believe,' is out now, and will be playing in West Hollywood's House of Blues on Feb. 9.
