Robin Thicke will open up to Oprah Winfrey about his life, marriage and career on the next installment of 'Oprah's Next Chapter.'

The 'Blurred Lines' singer will also discuss the controversy surrounding his performance with Miley Cyrus at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, among other things, reveals Billboard.

Those other things include discussions about his family life with wife Paula Patton, his role as a father and working with hit-makers such as will.i.am and Pharrell Williams.

Thicke's one-on-one with Oprah is scheduled to air Oct. 13 at 9PM ET on OWN.

Meanwhile, Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' continues to break records on the Billboard music charts. The single notched 16 weeks at No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart this week. The song broke Mary J. Blige's seven-year record with 'Be Without You,' which stayed at the top for 15 weeks in 2006.

Thicke's record-breaking chart achievement proves that 'Blurred Lines' has staying power. Not only was the song a summer hit, it just might become a fall smash as well.

The single has sold 5.8 million downloads so far and it continues to get massive airplay on radio as it sits atop the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay for 10 weeks in a row.

It looks as if people can't stop grooving to Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines.'
