Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus Bring Teddy Bears and Twerking to 2013 MTV Video Music Awards
R&B crooner Robin Thicke and pop songstress Miley Cyrus teamed up to perform a medley of their hits at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night (Aug. 25) at the Barclays center.
Cyrus appeared onstage wearing a one-piece bathing suit with a teddy bear design on it. She performed her chart-topping hit 'We Can't Stop' with several teddy bears as her background dancers.
Her set then segued into Thicke's performance of his dance anthem, 'Blurred Lines.' The dapper singer was dressed in the same referee-styled suit he wore in his latest video for 'Give It 2 U.'
Speaking of which, Thicke performed his new single as well. Rapper 2 Chainz came on stage to perform his verse on the track.
Then Kendrick Lamar suddenly appeared dressed in a red hockey jersey, black pants, red Nike sneakers and a black L.A. dodgers baseball cap.
Much like the video, Thicke was the ring leader of a chaotic party onstage that featured majorettes, drill team dancers and Cyrus twerking onstage in her bra panties.
Overall, Robin Thicke and Miley Cyrus gave the audience one hell of a party at the VMAs.
