Monica Releases Inspiring Love Ballad ‘I Know’

Monica is steadily making her comeback in he R&B game with her new single, "I Know." The song is from the veteran songbird's upcoming album, Code Red.

The lush ballad continues to take on the theme of overcoming heartbreak as Monica's voice soars above the piano keys, which will definitely give you all the feels. “When I told you I love you, I mean it / For the first time, I’m not afraid of needing you so / No matter what, I’m not leaving you, no,” sings the 35-year-old R&B mom.

On social media, fans have been tweeting the praises of Monica and her soaring ballad. "I'm so in love with "I Know"!!!" wrote one fan. "Thank you for dedicating your life to sharing your legacy with us!!!" Another commenter tweeted, "I Know" Has Been On Repeat Since It Downloaded Yesterday! Monica Is Stepping Out Of Her Comfort Zone! Yall Aint Ready."

Lately, Monica has been releasing a few singles from the album, including the Missy Elliott-assisted title song, and the acoustic guitar-driven "Hustler's Ambition" featuring Akon.

Monica is currently on her Code Red Experience tour, which wraps up in New York on Dec. 13. 

Code Red is set to be released on Dec. 18.
