Lupe Fiasco, ‘Bitch Bad’ – Controversial Songs

Leave it to Lupe Fiasco to get fellow Chicago rapper Kanye West to break a Twitter hiatus to speak on how the word "bitch" is used in hip-hop.

The lyrics "Bitch bad, woman good, lady better," brought attention to how these lyrics may affect young listeners, who have no real parental guidance.

Spin magazine criticized the rapper's so-called "moronic lyrics-over-everything attitude." Fiasco launched a boycott against the publication as a result.

West later admitted he was troubled with the word since he was criticized for using it in his song 'Perfect Bitch.' "Is it acceptable for a man to call a woman a bitch even if it's endearing," Yeezy wrote on Twitter. "Initially was offended by anyone questioning anything in my music."
