Kelly Rowland is still going strong in the R&B Sound Off, but her competition against Amel Larrieux was a close one. The Destiny's Child member earned 52.04 percent of the vote while the Philly native received 47.96 percent. This was a close one!

‘Gone’ is the latest track off Rowland's new album, ‘Talk a Good Game,’ which debuted last week. Featuring Wiz Khalifa, she sings about leaving a man who doesn’t appreciate her. The track features a sample of Joni Mitchell’s ‘Big Yellow Taxi, which also made an appearance on Janet Jackson‘s 1997 track, ‘Got ’til It’s Gone.’

“I cleaned the closets so I’m out of your way / You can have your space / Well, I thought I should write a letter but I thought this would be better / There’s a million ways that I could tell ya / But I would rather show ya / It’s over and I won’t be back no more,” she delivers.

This week, the songstress will go against R&B newbie, Netta Brielle. While the R&B Sound Off has been featuring artists' original songs, we thought Brielle's version of 'Rain' by SWV was just too good to pass up.

Not only does this Oakland, Calif., chanteuse show off her abilities by going a cappella, but she also gets a little help from SWV's Coko. Brielle has been going hard at promoting her mixtape, 'Will You Go With Me?' by releasing a new track every week till its July 9 release.

Will Rowland's smooth vocals be enough to win this week? Or will Brielle's bright-eyed talent take the win? Vote for your favorite song in the poll below. Remember you can vote once per hour until the poll closes on Tues., July 2, at 10AM ET.

Rules of R&B Sound Off
Two R&B artists sound off against each other each week. The triumphant artist goes on to compete in the next R&B Sound Off. If an artist wins four straight R&B Sound Offs, the song will be honored as immortal in TheDrop.fm R&B Sound Off Hall of Fame.
