Kat Dahlia Keeps the Party Going on ‘Clocks’
Kat Dahlia is setting the time for a wild night out on her new anthem, 'Clocks.'
The Miami native taps producer Salaam Remi for the beat -- she also co-wrote the song with him -- and showcases some powerful vocals centered on letting loose.
"We live in the jungle / We cocky but humble / You don't want to rumble / Speak up don't mumble," she demands.
Once midnight hits, the singer, who's of Cuban descent, is welcoming "the freaks" to come out to play. “‘Cause when the clock strikes 12, I’ma set it off just like I wanna,” Kat delivers on the hook. “Baby, when the clock strikes 12, we gon’ turn it up, don’t tell ya mama.”
'Clocks' arrives on the heels of songs like her reggae-tinged 'Fireman' and reality-driven 'Gangsta.' Kat's debut LP, 'My Garden,' is set for a February 2014 release.
