Joey Bada$$ Announces ‘Summer Knights’ Album

Joey Bada$$ is preparing for a big summer. The Brooklyn rapper just announced that he's prepping a new album for release.

The Pro Era member took to Twitter recently to share the news. "but f--- it, eye'll just make this announcement. My 'Summer Knights Ep' drops June 12th. good day," he shared.

Today, he clarified that the release would be a full-length album and not an EP. "summr knights will no longer be an EP.... full-length."

Earlier in the month, Joey tweeted about the offering, making it seem like it would be a group effort with his Pro Era crew. "ok so the word is.... a brand new PRO ERA mixtape next month... 'Summer Knights EP,'" he tweeted. Now, it appears that the album will be more of a solo effort.

Joey previously released a song of the same name. Presumably, the Chuck Strangers-helmed track inspired his album title.
