Joe Celebrates the Finer Things in ‘I’d Rather Have a Love’ Video
R&B singer Joe has it all -- cars, jewels, money, friends -- but the one thing he doesn't have is a true love. That's the premise for his latest video, 'I'd Rather Have a Love.'
In the Hype Williams-directed clip, Joe warns fellow players that a life of material things will lead them to a path of loneliness. The singer's sagely advice gets a little muffled with the images of Rolls Royces, Ferraris, big-face timepieces and expensive handbags. But, in the end, Joe leads by example as he proudly shows off a statuesque beauty who, supposedly, is his one and only lady love. Not bad at all.
Joe, who is celebrating 20 years of singing love songs, is working on his 10th studio album, which is due this summer.
