R&B veteran Joe doles out some words of wisdom for the players on his new song, 'Love & Sex.' The crooner enlists 'American Idol' alum Fantasia, who also offers some advice for the ladies.

The throwback-sounding ballad, which takes its cues from the Persauders' 'Thin Line Between Love & Hate' and Patti LaBelle's "If You Only Knew,' features Joe and 'Tasia explaining the difference between love and sex.

"Sex can really blow your mind," sings Joe, with Fantasia adding, "Love can ease it for you."

Fantasia then flips it and sings, "Good sex can make a wonderful night," with Joe adding, "But love can make a beautiful life."

In the end, Joe and Fantasia want their fans to decide which they would prefer -- the commitment of love or the immediate gratification of sex. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Overall, the song offers food for thought as well as a soundtrack for bedroom snuggling.

'Love & Sex' will appear on Joe's 10th album, 'DoubleBack: Evolution of R&B,' which arrives in stores July 2.
