Ice Cube Debuts New Song, ‘The Big Show’
When it comes to hip-hop heavyweights, it gets no bigger than Ice Cube. The veteran rhyme-slinger has forged a successful career both in music and entertainment. On his new single, 'The Big Show,' Cube name-drops celebrities he personally knows.
The smoothed-out banger is accompanied by a lyric video, which features images of Cube's many celebrity and hood friends. Snoop Dogg, Tupac Shakur, Denzel Washington, Deion Sanders, Magic Johnson, Mike Epps and his two rapping sons, Doughboy and OMG, are among the list of people that Cube shouts out.
"I ate dinner with Martin / Had meetings with Magic / Chopped it up with Tupac / Before it was tragic / These are the people I know / These are the places I go / This is my world motherf---a / Just one big show," he raps.
On the chorus, Cube rap sings, "They call me Hollywood / Here come the big show / They call me Hollywood / Here come the big show / Let a bitch know."
It's unclear if this song will appear on his upcoming 10th studio album, 'Everythang's Corrupt.'
In the meantime, you can check out Ice Cube on the Kings of the Mic tour with LL Cool J, De La Soul and Public Enemy.
