The 2nd annual Made in America Festival in Philadelphia boasted an array of great performances Saturday (Aug. 31) -- including the queen herself, Beyonce. The R&B superstar closed out the first day of her husband Jay Z's music fest with an exciting 90-minute live show.

New York City fans were treated like royalty as the Kings of the Mic tour tested the walls of Roseland Ballroom last night (June 20) with performances from LL Cool J, Public Enemy, Ice Cube and De La Soul.

"Our attitude by the second album was to destroy music," said Public Enemy vocalist Chuck D in an interview. On April 14, 1988, Public Enemy unleashed their second album, a dense, dizzying masterpiece of social outrage entitled 'It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back.'

Attention hip-hoppers! LL Cool J is hitting the road this summer and he's bringing a few powerhouse acts along with him. The GOAT is headlining the Kings of the Mic tour with co-headliners Public Enemy, Ice Cube and De La Soul.

Legendary rap group Public Enemy are now part of an exclusive cohort only earned by the best of the best in the music industry. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced that the hip-hop duo, who have over 30 years in the game, will be inducted along with seven other highly-achieved musicians.
