Winter's here and it's a drag if you're the kind of person who hates waking up to the bitter cold and seeing your breathe form cloudy shapes in front of your face. But don't fear, warm weather is around the corner and with it comes music festivals like Governors Ball 2013. The lineup for the event was announced today and big names like Kanye West and Nas are on the bill.

The Governors Ball Music Festival, in its third year, spans three days -- June 7 - 9 -- and is held at New York City's Randall's Park. West and Nas serve as the major acts in the rap spectrum, with Mid-West rhymer Freddie Gibbs, West Coast emcee Kendrick Lamar and East Coast spitter Azealia Banks also joining.

Singer Miguel, whose sophomore LP, 'Kaleidoscope Dream,' has been critically-acclaimed, finds himself as one of the few R&B entertainers on the lineup, with bluesy crooner Gary Clark, Jr., also performing.

West's performance here is being tagged as his "first show as sole headliner in NYC since 2008." Did someone forget about his solo shows last month at Revel in Atlantic City, where he announced his girlfriend Kim Kardashian was pregnant with his child?

Governers Ball attendees will get to see more than 60 performances over the course of the three days. There will be many performers from indie rock, dance and pop genres. And when a bathroom break is needed or the stage show doesn't quite satisfy, concert-goers can head over to indulge in activities like the silent disco, ping-pong, lawn games or a life sized game of Connect 4.

Tickets are on sale beginning Jan. 25 at GovBall.com.
