It's safe to say that Foxy Brown has been dealing with plenty of stress lately and it's taking its toll on her. The Brooklyn MC broke into tears on MTV's 'RapFix' as she shared her frustration with the media while speaking to host Sway Calloway.

Along with veteran rhyme-slinger Big Daddy Kane by her side, Brown spoke candidly about having to deal with the constant false reporting about her life in the news and on social media.

"When it's just completely redundant, when it's negative stuff being said constantly, it becomes annoying. It becomes tiring," she said.

"I have tears in my eyes right now because what I've been through, you guys don't understand," she continued. "The fact that somebody can just lie and it becomes a trending topic, where everybody is talking about it, and you have to constantly come out of the booth and stop what I'm doing to defend a lie."

In the end, the 'Ill Na Na' rapper simply wants to be left alone and live her life. "You know me I'm far from weak, I'm as strong as they get," she said. "I have the heart of a soldier, but after a while it becomes let her live. Let her live."

We understand Foxy Brown's frustration. However, it's a two-way street and controversy sells, and in the Internet age, it also drives traffic to websites.

Keep your head up, Foxy.
