Fabolous is known for taking his time releasing official studio albums. In 2009, the Brooklyn native dropped his fifth LP, 'Loso's Way.' Since then, he's kept fans' ears fed with four mixtapes, with his most recent arrival 'The Soul Tape 2.'

Quality and growth on his next project is an important aspect for Fab, who's been in the game for 12 years, since his debut 'Ghetto Fabolous,' in 2001. He told MTV News why he's been holding on to his new opus, 'Loso's Way 2: Rise to Power,' for so long. "This one is really growth and evolution," he said. "I think people know what I do - they know I've been in the game for a minute, but you gotta continuously show that growth and show that you're bringing something. It's the same thing, it's the same steps over and over again, but you gotta make it look new."
