Eve, ‘Make It Out This Town’ – Must-Have 2013 Songs

After years of not hearing from Ruff Ryders' First Lady, Eve releases 'Make It Out This Town,'off her upcoming LP, 'Lip Lock,' out May 14.

The song takes us back to her early days of making it as a rapper with lyrics that are bursting with inspiring and optimistic words to keep fighting for your dreams.

“Sick of dreaming… Never been like the others, always been one of a kind,” she raps. “Victory you’ll see, you’ll be all right.”

With Cobra Starship frontman Gabe Saporta on the chorus, the track takes a lighter and perhaps more pop approach than we're used to hearing from Eve. However, change isn't always a bad thing, and this track is just one of those examples.
