Rihanna, Drake, Nicki Minaj Among Billboard’s Top Earners in 2012

Billboard has released the stats on the top 10 best-selling and most played songs, albums and artists in 2012. Hip-hop and R&B had a fair run, charting in several categories.

Some artists' projects appeared on charts more than once including Nicki Minaj, who came in at No. 9 on the Top 10 Selling Albums w/TEA -- track equivalent albums -- for her album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'. The LP sold 1,657,000 copies.

Rihanna's 'We Found Love' featuring Calvin Harris was amongst the most played songs in 2012, and rapper Flo Rida's fun track 'Wild One' was one of the most streamed tracks of 2012, landing at No. 10 in that respective category.
