Corinne Bailey Rae Partners with Salaam Remi on ‘Makin’ It Hard For Me’

Studio maestro Salaam Remi comes through with another fantastic song from his upcoming project, 'One: In the Chamber.' The heavenly tune, 'Makin' It Hard For Me,' features the angelic vocals of British songstress Corinne Bailey Rae.

Over rich orchestral strings, moving synths and on-time drum playing, Rae's mesmerizing vocals resonate on the beautiful song. On it, the 34-year-old singer contemplates about falling in love again after suffering a heartbreak.

"'Cause you making it hard for me / Should I surrender and taste what's sweet / I'm afraid to be off my feet / But you making it hard for me," she sings on the chorus.

After listening to 'Makin It Hard For Me' and the Akon-assisted 'One in the Chamber,' it sounds like Remi is bringing an incredible album to the music game.

‘One: In the Chamber,’ featuring guest appearances from Estelle, Stephen Marley, Ne-Yo and others, will arrive in stores Sept. 30.
