Legendary New Jersey rap group Naughty By Nature has been tapped to headline the 2013 Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on June 1. The summertime event boasts a lineup of musicians that may surprise you.

But don't fear, warm weather is around the corner and with it comes music festivals like Governors Ball 2013. The lineup for the event was announced today and big names like Kanye West and Nas are on the bill.

Chart-topping R&B artists Brandy, Maxwell, Jill Scott and Keyshia Cole have been tapped to headline the 2013 Essence Festival at the New Orleans Superdome in July. The annual event celebrates black empowerment, music and culture.

Eminem hasn't rocked the mic in a long time but it looks like he's ready to move the crowd again. The Detroit spitfire has been tapped as the first headliner for the U.K.'s twin concert events, the Reading and Leeds music festivals.
