Remember when Brian McKnight was toying with the idea of doing an adult mixtape? Last year, he debuted the inspiration for the tape, the R&B ode 'If You're Ready to Learn,' which was dedicated to teaching a woman how to use her nether regions properly. Well, that project hasn't seen the light of day but another one will in the coming months. The crooner is set to release a new album, 'More Than Words,' on March 5.

His 15th album to date, 'More Than Words' finds the 43-year-old New York native traveling down a familiar road. Songs like 'Sweeter,' with its delicate guitar licks, feature McKnight singing about a woman who adds a rather pleasant aspect to his world. "You make everything in my life much sweeter, sweeter," he croons. The effort was the No. 2 most added song at urban radio last week, according to his label E1.

"I am fortunate that there is no wall between myself and my fans," McKnight said in a statement. "We communicate at live shows and especially through Twitter and social media. I ask them what they want and they tell me. Hopefully on this album I have succeeded again in giving them what they want."

The forthcoming LP is set to include a collaboration with singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat. The title of the song has yet to be released. 'More Than Words' serves as the follow-up to McKnight's 2011 opus 'Just Me.'
