Before we knew Missy Elliott as the singer and rapper who rocked garbage bags in videos and kicks, she was one of the masterminds behind Aaliyah's 'One in a Million' LP, which went went double platinum and became one of the late singer's best albums to date. After working behind the scenes, Elliott went into the spotlight with the release of 'Supa Dupa Fly,' in 1997. Not only was the album certified platinum, but it also became the starting point toward a very successful line of releases including 'Not Tonight' with Lil' Kim, Da Brat, Angie Marinez and the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes; five albums, five Grammys and six BET Awards.

Although it's been years since we've heard anything brand spanking new from this musical Renaissance woman, Elliott released 'Triple Threat' and '9th Inning,' which reunited her with longtime studio partner, Timbaland, in September 2012. However, the date for this release is still unknown.

She has also been busy in the studio producing for other acts including Beyonce, for her upcoming LP, new tracks with Brit girl group Little Mix as well as Eve and 'Tipi Ti On My Cappi Town' with DJ Prince and Pootie Tang.
